1/160 LCI(L)-78 (Lindberg)
This is the ancient Lindberg "LSI" kit (actually a LCI(L) - Landing Craft, Infantry (Large)), box-scale working out at around 1/160. I detailed it extensively using scratchbuilt parts + a few generic photo-etch bits, using photos + drawings in Squadron/Signal's "WW2 US Landing Craft in Action" as reference. Some of the deck fittings + smaller parts from the kit were used, including the barrels and pedestals of the 20mm guns. It's painted in a mid-war South Pacific scheme, which certainly makes a change from overall grey D-Day landing craft!
