1/15 LCM (Scratchbuilt)
The model is of an LCM (Landing Craft Mechanised)
Scaled at 1/15 and radio controlled it is yet to be completely finished but the detailing is started and gives a reasonable idea of the finished item. The hull is fibreglassed from a mould I had made, powered by a 12 volt gel cell running to 777 motors performance is scale. eventually the ramp will be powered, until then its for display only. The model is over a metre long by 300mm wide, displacment is around 25lbs
