The model is fully radio controlled and is built as per the original from plywood (liteply). It sails well and is surprising seaworthy considering its hull form. For the anorak brigade, the hull was built from drawings I created and is unusual in that the bow section is a positive chine form (keel below the chine line) which gradually turns to negative chine (keel line above the chine line) at the stern, this forms a typs of prop tunnel which gives the vessel the excellent beaching qualities. And yes, the bow door does work.
