1/700 USS Iwo Jima LHA-7 (Hobby Boss)
My grandfather, Bob Nandell, has a model of the old LPH Iwo Jima in his model ship collection. I wanted to build a model of the new LHA 7 Iwo Jima. This is the Hobby Boss kit. This is my first model ship. I usually build miniature Army vehicles. I am 19-years-old and am in the U.S. Marine Corps delayed entry program. I used an air brush kit and mixture of Tamiya paints on the model. I used super-glue to affix the PE.
