1/700 USS Tennessee BB-43 (Trumpeter)

I recently completed this Trumpeter 1/700 kit of the USS Tennessee in her 1941/Pearl Harbor attack configuration.   It's a great kit; I love the photoetch for the cage masts, even though I know the shape is not 100% accurate.  I added railings from a Gold Medal Models PE set.

It's great to have these kits of the "Big 5" battleships.   Before I leave this world I hope to also see a New Mexico class or two, and how about a 1941 Oklahoma/1944 Nevada?  But for now, I'm grateful to Trumpeter for these outstanding kits of great American warships.
