1/350 USS North Carolina BB-55 (Trumpeter)
This is actually the first model I have worked on in more then 6 years. I just couldn't resist when I saw Trumpeter's BB55 kit online, so I picked up the hobby again. I started this kit in January 2006 and it ended up sitting incomplete for a few months.
My BB55 is also my first ever attempt at using PE and painting camo. I used Tom's North Carolina PE kit and Model Masters Marine Acrylics. I chose MS22 because I'm not yet confident to do any razzle dazzle schemes. I do enjoy MS22 though, and am happy with the results.
