1/144 Admiral Sheer (Scratchbuilt)
The model is plank on frame reinforced with resin. There are many castings on her made from resin. the only photo-etch are the railings and hand wheels. The gun barrels are from gmp. All small boats and 11”, 5.9" and 4.1" guns, all directors and hull fittings are cast by me. All upper works are balsa or bass wood skinned with styrene.
The build took about two years, my plans where for Graf Spree so there
was a fair amount of modifying to do the bow, funnel and bridge areas.
By the way the signal flags spell Sheer. I received allot of help from
many modelers on this site, too many to name but thanks guys.
