1/700 DKM Bismarck (DML)
This is the Bismarck from Dragon with the decks replaced with balsa wood.
I have used the Eduard etched metal set plus 1/700 figures. A lot of the parts in the kit are wrong or missing (main ventilators on main deck aft and forward) and generally speaking, although a nice kit, it falls behind the Trumpeter one which I bought later. The Trumpeter kit is crisper and looks more complete after I checked my references, including the Anatomy of the Ship book on Bismarck.
Things like the AA armament are on the crude side and less accurate than Trumpy's.
All in all I am quite pleased with the result, but had I started over again I would go with the Trumpeter kit as a base model.
