1/250 Jauréguiberry (Scratchbuilt)
The Jauréguiberry is an early predreadnought battleship of the French Navy. It was one of five ships of the same class, however, each of its sister ships varied significantly in their overall configuration. Jauréguiberry was built at Forges et Chantiers de la Méditerranée in La Seyne-sur-Mer. This ship was 367 feet (111.9 meters) in length with a beam of 75 feet (23 meters). Displacement was approx. 11,818 tons. Jauréguiberry was commissioned 16 February 1897.
The configuration of this ship make it a challenging scratch build for the modeler. Details of the construction from start to finish can be seen at Papermodelers.com.
