1/350 HMS King George V (Tamiya)
This is my attempt at HMS King George V depicted as in late 1941. I used the Tamiya 1/350 scale HMS Prince of Wales kit and converted it to KGV using the awesome Pontos detail set. The set includes everything required including wooden decks and brass barrels for all guns including the Pom Poms. As is my practice now, I glued the decks down with GATOR GLUE and did not just rely on the self adhesive backing.
My only criticism of the Pontos set is that the instructions could be better and there are a number of parts which are not even mentioned in the instructions.
