1/350 HMS King George V (Tamiya)

This is dedicated to my late dad, Lim Seng Cheong who went through WW2 as a young man. He told me stories of his experiences including the news of the sinking of HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse off the Kuantan Coast, the surrender of Singapore and the occupation. Also seeing Buffalo aircrafts flying over the skies and experiencing first hand the first bomb that struck Chinatown where he lived.  The model here depicts the weathering of the ship from photos, etching is from W.E.M. and paints are from Lifecolor and AK interactive.
