1/700 HMS Nelson (Tamiya)
Another example of my earlier works, this time is from 2007, Tamiya 1/700 HMS Nelson in her view of 1945.Considering the history of both ships as a result of the 20’s policies, I was looking for this kit until I found it.
Build up mostly OOB, it was a very straight forward model with no particular remarks considering the age of the kit. Humbrol, Testors and Tamiya acrylic paints with no extra weathering, but my first attempts on rigging on the antennas by using heated sprues.
As you can see, major refit is now needed badly after all this time, as some pieces are now missing and a general updated based on experience and availability of resources is possible.
A very enjoyable work, I was really glad with the outcome and also really proud on this model.
