1/700 HMS Tiger 1918 (Combrig)

Oh boy. I got this kit on eBay from a seller in China that had listed it as "New." It wasn't. It was missing masts, her secondary guns, and several superstructure bits. After unsuccessfully trying to get replacements, I boxed it... ...Queue Artist Hobby making an extremely complicated, but awesome set for her that addressed my problems.

I love this ship. I especially thought that the early/mid 1918 configuration just looked so cool. I ended up having to do a little scratch work and needed to get custom decals made from masters provided by the legendary Jim Baumann. Overall, the build was a pain but came out nicely. I'm very happy with the water and appearance of the ship. Lessons were also learned as this was my first successful use of stretched sprue.
