1/700 HMS Thunderer (Combrig)
This is my Combrig 1/700 HMS Thunderer finished in her 1914 fit. This is an excellent kit but as usual Combrig's instruction wasn't of much help. My main reference is R.A.Burt's "British Battleship of World War One" and of course any picture of Orion class battleships I could find on Internet. Also AOTS Dreadnought and AOTS Warspite were used for boat and equipment reference.
Range finders on turret tops were removed except on Q turret. Blast bags were made from Tamiya Epoxy Putty. Tripod, top mast, starfish and fore top were completely built from scratch. I used brass rods for derricks and booms. Rigging were from Dai Riki and Uni Caenis threads.
