This is my 1/700 IJN Yamato, from Tamiya. The lower hull is an addition: I made a "draft" from a foam and my friend and colleague in modelism Eugene Ushakow used it as a guide to manufacture it for me from resin, using his original technology. He made two of them and the second one is also already used for the IJN Shinano (now still under construction).
The PE is from Eduard and Voyager; the rigging is from a sprue stretched on a candle.
I couldn't resist to take some pix of her in company with my USS Missouri. Who knows, if only at least one of the Yamatos would somehow survive the War (as for example the IJN Nagato did), maybe such picture would became a reality!
