1/700 São Paulo (Fairy Kikaku)
he model represents the Minas Gerais class Brazilian battleship. The Fairy Kikaku resin kit is not good, but with enough extra work can be achieved a fairly decent result. Many of the pieces were replaced by others built from scratch and by some from various kits. To improve the model I used photoetched parts from different sources, especially handrails and stairs. Finally I painted it with Humbrol enamels and Tamiya acrylics, making the weathering with oils as I usually do.
