1/700 SMS Lutzow 1916 (FlyHawk)

Here's my build of the battlecruiser SMS Lutzow, as she appeared at the Battle of Jutland in 1916.  This was my first Flyhawk kit, and I was very impressed.  The detail is crisp and the fit is great.   The kit-provided photoetch is a bit flimsy and easily distorted, but has all railings in the required lengths and clear instructions for their installation.

This was my first experience with using a wood deck (ArtWox) and I was really pleased with the result.   The sea base is made using my usual method with Celluclay, ModPodge, Future, and cotton.
