1/350 Georgios Averof (YS Masterpieces)
This is my model of the Greek Cruiser Georgios Averof in 1/350 scale. I picked up this kit from “YS Masterpieces”, a Scale Model Manufacturer from Greece.
Georgios Averof is a Greek Armored Cruiser which served as the flagship
of the Royal Hellenic Navy from the First Balkan War (1912-1913) until
the Greco-Turkish War (1919–1922). During WWII Georgios Averof was assigned
to make patrols in the Indian Ocean. In Greece, the ship is known as a
battleship. Today, the warship is in perfect condition and is a museum
in Faliron Bay, near Athens.
