1/600 HMS Exeter (Airfix / conversion)
This model uses the Airfix HMS Suffolk kit, modified with 27mm less length and the omission of one funnel and one turret. Photo etch is various left over items from White Ensign Models 1:600 sets. I was interested in trying this conversion since it would complete the protagonists in the Battle of the River Plate in this scale, as Airfix also made a 1:600 HMS Ajax and Graf Spee.
