1/700 IJN Tone 1944 (Aoshima)

This old Aoshima kit has been completely rebuilt. Fairly simple generic photogravures have been used. Much of the elements of the ship have been rebuilt to scratch, mainly the masts and the bridge. Various items have also been replaced with new ones such as cannons and seaplanes. Unicaenis has been used for wiring and painted with Vallejo. The cover is a mix of 70.818 (RedLeather) and 70.985 (hull red). The hull in 70.869 (Basalt Grey) and finished in pastel. The sea has been made on thick cardboard and medium gel.
