1/350 RN Pola (Hobby Boss)

This is my 1/350 Pola by Hobby Boss.  The kit was inexpensive and a good kit to practice some things on.  I added some detail to the forward mast with some brass tubing, made the lifeboat oars from stretched sprue, painted the inside of the searchlights silver and filled them with clear parts glue, and scratchbuilt a couple sets of stairs from some extra PE.  I used 2 sets of Flyhawk PE 1/350 rails, added life rafts from my spares box, added some 1/350 anchor chains, and did the rigging from stretched sprue.  Overall it was a very enjoyable build.  I was able to try mounting on a wood base with pedestals and I liked how it turned out.  This is a decent kit for a low price that turned out pretty nice with some extras added to it.
