1/350 Dragon USS Thomas S. Gates with Gold Medal Models modern warship photoetch set.
This was the first Ticonderoga class guided missile cruiser out of Bath Iron Works and the only one in the class not named after a famous battle. The ship was decommissioned recently and was to be modernized with the Navy's state-of-the-art vertical launch and AEGIS systems but instead was put in the reserve fleet in Philadelphia, fate to be determined.
