IJN Isuzu

1/700 IJN Isuzu (Tamiya)

Relatively simple build of the older Tamiya kit, with a few additions:

• Tom's Modelworks photo-etch railings, crane, ladders, Type 21 radar and searchlight tower (which is a part for a Japanese heavy cruiser cut down to fit)
• PitRoad triple and single 25mm AA guns
• Masts are brass rod

The canvas dodger around the searchlight platform is white glue. The model is painted with White Ensign's Yokosuka Grey paint. Rigging is a combination of Caenis line and Dai-Riki line.
