1/350 USS Lexington, CV-2 (Trumpeter)
This is my model of the USS Lexington, built from the 1/350 Trumpeter
kit. I know there were some accuracy problems with the kit, but I
elected to ignore these. I did some minor scratchbuilding to correct
the AA gun tubs and correct some fit problems. I used the Gold Medal
Models PE set for the kit, replaced the 5" gun barrels with brass tubing,
and added several more sets of aircraft to fill out the flight deck.
