The USS Yorktown CV5 , 1942 prior to The Battle of MidwayThere is some evidence that the Yorktown retained 10 of her 50 caliber machine guns, all on the starboard side. This was mainly due to the scarcity of Swedish made 20 mm Oerlikon guns. (1)
