1/540 USS Ranger CVA-61 (Revell Kitbash)
This is Revell's 1/542 scale model of the USS Ranger CVA-61. I built it to resemble the Ranger as she appeared in 1965. I reworked the fantail to include engine test stand, drop landing lights, and related radar. The island was reworked to upgrade the radars and add other details. I added the deck edge extension at the end of the angled deck, and removed the forward 5" guns from the sponsons
