1/700 USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71 (Italeri)
This version of the "Big Stick," USS Theodore Roosevelt, is an early fit in the ship's life. In recent years more sponsons and radar domes have sprouted here and there from her hull and island. I opted for the 'clean' look of earlier times when she still had things like Ay's and F14's aboard. A Flight II Arleigh Burke stands plane guard in the background. I decided to build the Roosevelt in waterline form since I already had a full-hull Italeri Nimitz in the collection.
