1/720 USS Ronald Reagan CVN-76 (Italeri)
This is the Italeri R.Reagan in 1/720. I constructed the rear part of the hangar, plus added extra details in the hull bays where visible in order to add some depth. Also added some extra detail on the bridge. I painted the planes overall grey à la low visibility camo scheme and added some extra fuel tanks and replace their undercarriage. I glued about 150 figures on the deck as I wanted to have a busy feel and also made up some small trailers used for ammo transportation, refuelling, etc. The sea was made with silicone and I recreated the bow wave with a mixture of silicone and painted cotton to give the extra volume.
