HMS Invincible

1/700 HMS Invincible (DML)

HMS Invincible, veteran of the Falklands, is technically still in 'mothballs' until 2010, having been decommissioned in 2005. The small Brit. carriers at just over 20,000 tons, tiny compared to a U.S. nuclear super-carrier, are gas-turbine powered and essentially the hull is based on a commercial vessel design. I like the Dragon kit of Invincible, although the island superstructure parts required a lot of knife work.
