Here is my 1/350 Tamiya Fletcher. It is constructed to represent the Fletcher at the time it was assigned to the Pacific Fleet in 1942. I used photos in Squadron Publications "Fletcher DD's In Action" as a guide. The kit was built mostly OOB, with GMM PE, and rigging with fine wire. I drilled out the bridge windows and opened a few doors on the superstructure. I built the flag lockers, as the kit did not include any. The supplied depth charges were installed in the correctly-sized GMM racks. It was painted with Testor's Modelmaster and WEM enamels, and artist's acrylics. This was a fun build. The fit of the parts was very good, and the parts required a minimum of cleanup.
