1/350 USS Halford DD-480 ( Tamiya conversion)

There were three Fletcher-class destroyers temporally converted to mount aircraft catapults, but were eventually changed back into their original configurations.   This is my attempt to convert the Tamiya kit into one of these ships.  I used a lot of PE from the parts box including some resin 5-inch guns I had.  Overall I am pleased with the final result, it may not be 100% accurate but I think you get a pretty good idea of what the Halford looked like.  I also wonder if these destroyers were the smallest ships to ever mount a catapult.
