1/350 USS Gansevoort DD-608 (Dragon)
This is the 1:350 scale Dragon kit of USS Laffey which I have numbered
for USS Gansevoort. This is a very nice kit which I painted in measure
21 using LifeColor navy blue and deck blue and Polly Scale haze gray.
I used the Gold Medal PE set, used guitar string for the mast stays, caenis
thread otherwise, and L'Arsenal crew, 20 mm's, floater nets and baskets.
I replaced the tubs for the Mk51 directors forward of No. 3 5" turret with
sections of plastic straw (much thinner). My friend and fellow modeler
Carl Musselman took the photos.
