1/600 USS Hancock DD-675 (Aurora)
This is a water-lined and kit-bashed old Aurora kit issued as USS Bennion back in the 1960's. I finished it off to represent DD 675 USS Luis Hancock, a Fletcher class DD launched in 1943. It and a number of sister ships were reactivated for Korean War gun duty. A few sailed on into Vietnam War days. Various modifications took place during their extremely long careers. This little kit is sparse on details but I like the overall lines of it.
