1/350 USS William M. Wood DD-715 (Dragon)
This is the Dragon Gearing built as the USS William M. Wood in 1947 or so. At this time it would have a new coat of haze gray paint and post war hull numbers. I kept the weathering to a minimum since these ships were new. Gold Medal Models supplied the etch. For paint, I just mixed 3 drops of Testors flat gray to 10 of white and for the deck I used 6 drops to 10. This is my second ship and this website was very inspirational in helping me see it through to the end. Hopefully some of the pictures here will help others in all that detailing.
