1/350 Arleigh Burke Class DD (Trumpeter)

I am a new member to this forum, and this is my first submission for the gallery. This kit was purchased after being sadly disappointed in a pre-built version (shown with this kit in the last picture), even after modifications. I am fairly new to ship building, and this scale. Almost all of my  previous builds were in the 1/700 scale area, and were from many years ago. I am amazed at the quality of the builds I have viewed in the gallery, and am hoping to pick up some helpful hints and tricks before I get to my carrier (a Trumpeter 1/350 USS Nimitz).
