A transformation of the Trumpeter kit from the Uss Cole has been carried out to make the Uss Laboon - DDG-58. As with other builds, numerous modifications have been made for the MK-59 decoy launchers, - Anchor chains; lateral platforms for installation of the AN / SLQ-32; loudspeakers installed on the ship, reflectors, navigation radar on the bridge, support of the front WSC-3, platforms for MK-59 lures. The launchers have been made using parts of the kit's harpoon launchers; The radomes have been replaced with others in 3D, as have the chimney exhausts, reconstruction of the mast by placing supports for the ECM installations, torpedo tubes, reconstruction of the boat area with a new crane, antennas with copper wire, 2 25 mm bushmasters made in Scracht, fire hoses with photo-etched rods, improvements to the boats and life rafts have been made in 3D.
The ship is represented in a dry dock made of wood and completed with figures of ion models that have been painted as workers and various small details. The lifting vehicle is made of scratch.
The trucks are made on a 3D printer.
