1/300 USS DeLong DE-684 (Lindberg)
This model represents the Rudderow-class destroyer escort USS DeLong, in late-war fit, painted in MS.22. It's built from the old Lindberg kit which is approximately 1/300 scale - close enough to 1/350 for me, although it does look rather oversized next to the Trumpeter Buckley-class!
I used a lot of scratchbuilding work and spares-box parts to detail and correct the Lindberg kit, including scratchbuilding the forward Hedgehog launcher (the kit doesn't include one) and replacing the gun splinter shields and amidships splash shields with thin styrene sheet. Railings are Lion Roar, I used various other bits of WEM and GMM 1/350 PE to detail the AA guns.
