1/600 HMS Devonshire (Airfix)
This is another old-timer kit from Airfix, probably first circulated in the mid-1960's.HMS Devonshire was a London Class 5,000 plus ton ship launched in 1960 and retired from service in 1978 due to budget constraints. The London Class carried the huge, ungainly 'Sea Slug' anti-aircraft missile system on the fantail and twin 4.7-inch guns on the bow. Devonshire was as large as many WWII British light cruisers. Despite its age the kit went together well.
