The IJN destroyer Shigure as she might have appeared in 1942-43, based on the old Tamiya 1/700th-scale Shiratsuyu kit. The turrets and torpedo launchers are replacements from a Tamiya accessory set, and the AA guns are from Pit-Road/Skywave. Railings and crews are Tom's Modelworks PE. In hindsight, the errors and oversights in construction are legion in number (this being my first ship model in 22 years), but overall the learning process was still worth pursuit. Various modeling tips provided at this site also were very helpful.
