1/700 IJN Shiokaze (Pit Road)
Another model built for someone else. This was built up from the box with only a few etch railings and support struts from one of Tom's IJN Destroyer etch sets. It depicts a late war Shiokaze with 2 4.7' guns, 2 twin TT's and extra light AA and radar. The Shiokaze is one of the options in the kit and the box is labelled as something else. I used WEM colourcoats and Citadel acrylics and she was finished off by drybrushing and using the Tamiya weathering system.
