Airfix 1/72 scale RAF Rescue Launch - aka: Crash boat

I added additional figures from other kits and modified the hull for waterline presentation. The diorama was intended to depict HSL 156 (call sign Seagull 70) Commanded by Geoffrey Lockwood.  In October 1944 HSL 156 rescued 2 fortress crews from a mine field and saved 19 men. Details: .008" steel wire was use for rigging and the RAF ensign was purchased from Modelflags.com a great outfit which supplies real cloth flags and vinyl lettering in many scales.
