U-Boot Tender

1/700 U-Boot Tender (Various)

The diorama was part of a club project called "Rising Sun". The following kits have been used for the diorama:

IJN Heian Maru – Hasegawa
IJN I-400 – Aoshima
IJN I-16 & I-58 – Tamiya

I used the photo etch parts :

IJN SUBMARINE – Tom‘s Modelworks
IJN Figures – Eduard
Naval Figures – Eduard

All models were painted with Vallejo Air paint.

The "meeting" of the 4 ships as displayed in the diorama never happened, but I had the kits in my pile and it also shows how big the I-400 was compared to the other U-boats and the tender.
