1/700 HMS Ajax - Leander Class Frigate (MTM)
MT Models are of cold war era Royal Navy subjects. They are resin with white metal parts, with some basic PE and decals. Their detail level can be described charitably as not the best. This required lots of work; cutting away inaccuracies and blobs and replacing with scratch building and PE. Some bits; the masts and helicopter for example, with much clean up turned out OK. I used the indispensable WEM Modern British Warship fret, some spare plastic kit boats and styrene and wire for the whip aerials to create a passably realistic portrayal.
