1/700 HMS Cumberland F85 (Orange Hobby)
This shows a representation of HMS Cumberland F85, a batch 3 Type 22 Class Frigate. She was Commissioned 10th June 1989 and Decommissioned on 23rd June 2011.3rd model I made, original set up shown, transferred to a picture. I placed all the Ships I had been to Sea on in small 1/2 rounds just to put above dado rail as out of the way. Not particularly very good model representation, which is down to Me not the manufacturer. I added the RN Ships Crest which can be found online under images but also on Alans Crests, lots of good work He has done there, which gives the pictures a clue for the sea dodgers.
Last RN Ship I served on. Picture reflects My feelings about the RN when I left. Found the models and especially the pictures to be very therapeutic, gives time to reflect and put it into perspective. Water spout good fun to do and sky a terror, still there it is. Plan was to stop after this model, but found it an enjoyable hobby and something to do, oil painting gave it another aspect and then unfortunately I keep coming up with idea's, life eh.
