1/350 ROCN FFG-932 Chi Yang (Orange Hobby)
This ship model is 1/350 Orange hobby R.O.C. Navy FFG-932 Chi Yang (ex-Knox class USS FF-1073 Robert E. Peary). USS Robert E. Peary (FF-1073) was laid down on 20 December 1970 and commissioned on 23 September 1972. After 20 years honorable service in US Navy, she was transferred to Republic of China Navy and renamed as FFG-932 Chi Yang in 1992.This orange hobby kit includes complete resin parts, PE, brass parts and decals allowing modelers to finish a terrific ship model. PE and resin parts matches very well. This makes it possible for modelers to finish this kit smoothly. I used Veteran models' Phalanx CIWS, MK-16 ASROC launcher, and MK-36 SRBOC to replace original parts. Several scratch-built antenna, sailing light and surface radar were added on front and rear mast. That's all. I really enjoy building this wonderful kit. This kit can definitely let people love modern warship models more.
