FLEET AIR ARM MODEL SHOW AT YEOVILTON FEB 2006 BY JIM BAUMANN 
The model show at the Fleet Air Arm museum was once again  remarkable  for the sheer number of modelships of all sizes and varieties  that were exhibited!  Some of the  Modelwarships.com  regulars exhibited or at least attended  ( and spent money!!)  and it was good to  see so many new high quality model's  being built. The show was very well supported by trade and public alike--this will doubtlessly  assure the continued sponsorship  by Airfix and White Ensign Models.

Alas in the competition  area the lighting was not the best-- resulting in some photographs  simply being not good enough for presentation here--so apologies to the modellers whose work appears to be missing..!

The judging of the competition entries  this year was carried out  not by a selected  set of judges but  by all the visting modellers and  public.-a concept that had mixed views...

I am hopeful that some of the fine modellers that I  met at the show will  in the future contribute images of their fine models to MW.com for all of you unable to attend this UK  show  to enjoy  also!
