FLEET AIR ARM MODEL SHOW AT YEOVILTON FEB 2007 BY JIM BAUMANN
The  Fleet Air Arm museum was once again host to a   remarkable model show--all the more so as it is only a one day event!!!  The sheer number of modelships of all sizes and varieties  that were exhibited made the trip worthwhile. This year being the Falklands War anniversary there were a number of Falkland theme exhibits in the show...  I have also photographed some of the fine models in he museums own collection as \I felt they may be of assistance to modellers contemplating some RN carriers...

  Some of the  Modelwarships.com  regulars exhibited or at least attended  ( but all spent money!!)  and it was good to  see so many new high quality models  being built. The show was very well supported by trade and public alike. Noticeable were  a number of interested looking children - there  may be hope yet...

I am once again hopeful that some of the fine modellers that I  met at the show will  in the future someday  contribute images of their fine models to ModelWarships.com for all of you unable to attend this UK  show  to enjoy  also!
