| It was built for a D-Day group build on another modelling site and I received some positive feedback so I thought that I would share it with you. It was built virtually straight from the box as the 1944 English channel option. I added hatch handles and replaced the rigging stays and some rails with steel wire. The rigging is fishing line painted black. I enjoyed this build as the kit went together well, required very little filling and sanding and needed various modelling techniques from different genre to complete. i.e ships, armour, figures, cockpit painting and weathering. I would recommend this kit to anyone from beginner up. |
