1/72 PT-109 Torpedo Boat (Revell)
I am not a ship builder, but wanted to build this old kit that I built
as a young boy. It is out of the box except I added a few other figures
in including Kennedy standing behind the helmsman. I added nylon
wire on the mast and made a US flag on paper for the stern flag staff.
Paints are all ModelMaster with light weathering. My only complaint
is the too thick .50 cal twin mount guns. The 20 mm is perfect!
It was a lot of fun and shares the shelf with my WWII aircraft. I
really enjoy looking at the Model Warship gallery!
