1/50 Nanuchka III (Scratchbuilt)
The model of the Nanushka III Guided Missile Corvette from The Russian Navy. The model from my late Dad's collection (Nat Elst) was started in the late 80's and has been through several rebuilds. Scale 1/50. The model was originally built in wood to make a mould so that a fibreglass hull could be produced. This model has a fibreglass hull and deck and has a windscreen wiper electric motor from a Ford Falcon that runs on 12 volts and drives 3 shafts with friction drive.
